Edmund Wei

President & CEO
Co-Founder

Edmund Wei has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry in the Asia-Pacific region, spanning the areas of sales, marketing, finance, manufacturing, construction and service operations.

Prior to starting CommVerge Solutions, he was Managing Director at Lucent Technologies Asia-Pacific Inc. In this capacity, he was responsible for the P&L and strategic growth of Lucent’s Network Products Group in Asia Pacific, including supporting its joint ventures in the region.

Edmund began his career as an investment advisor in the field of infrastructure building and manufacturing in Taiwan, where he was a consultant in the sales & marketing, and services strategies for civil and telecommunications construction companies. He was also the Founder and General Manager  of a construction technology manufacturing firm. After consulting for AT&T and moving to Hong Kong in 1993, he formally joined AT&T Network Systems in 1994 to seek, evaluate, structure, and manage joint venture investments for telecommunications equipment manufacturing in Asia Pacific.

Edmund holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto and an MBA from York University, Canada.

Tracy Wong

Group Finance Controller

Tracy Wong has over 18 years experience in the accounting sector and prior to joining CommVerge in 1999, she worked as an accountant with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.

Tracy was appointed Group Finance Controller in CommVerge in Jan 2008 and is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the Group including issues relating to Treasury and Taxation. In this role, she is also responsible for CommVerge’s Investor Relations activities working in conjunction with the CEO.

Tracy is a Certified Public Accountant. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and accounting (Dean’s list) from California State University, Chico, USA.

Chee-Khiang Lim

President, ASEAN

Chee-Khiang Lim (CK) was appointed Country President, Malaysia in 2008. CK has worked with CommVerge Solutions since the inception of the local operations in 2000 and has played an important role in delivering the levels of profitability during the first 7 years of operations. He was Sales Director for the ASEAN region up until his appointment as Country President . He was awarded the ‘Can-Do’ Service Excellence and Sales Excellence Award in 2003.

Prior to joining CommVerge Solutions, CK was the General Manager of Digiphonic Sistem Sdn Bhd, responsible for the total profitability of the Company.

CK was the Sales Manager with The General Electric Company (M) Sdn Bhd before joining Digiphonic. He was responsible for establishing business partnerships and branch operations. In doing so, he established the Company to be one of the premiere brands in Malaysia during his tenure where he also led the formulation of aggressive sales and product bundling strategies. He also has extensive experience in establishing distribution and reseller channels in the industry.

Raymond Sun

President, China

Raymond Sun has over 30 years of telecommunications, networking and Internet experience from working in top telecommunications and multinationals companies in the US and China. Prior to joining CommVerge Solutions, Raymond was a corporate vice president at ViaGate Technologies in the US, responsible for the company’s Asia Pacific business. Before that, he was a senior engineer and member of technical staff in AT&T Belllabs and Bellcore. He has broad experience and significant contribution in IN, SS7 network, and broadband multimedia network and applications.

Raymond has been serving as the country manager for CommVerge China since 2000. He is responsible for overall business and P&L for the China operations.

Raymond holds an MS from Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey and a BS from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China.

Ralph Huang

President, Taiwan

Ralph Huang has over 10 years of telecommunications and networking experience with Lucent & Commverge Solutions. He has broad experience in  business development, sales, marketing and partner/vendor management.

Prior to joining CommVerge Solutions, Ralph was senior sales manager at Lucent Technologies, responsible for the company’s Asia Pacific business.  In the last two years at Lucent he made significant contributions in developing Asia’s broadband multimedia market, in countries like China, Hong Kong, Taiwan.

Before assuming the role of Country President, Taiwan, Ralph worked in Commverge for over 9 years. During that period  he was the Chief Operations Officer of the local operations as well as looking after the Sales Dept/vendor management, account/contract management and finance control for the local operations. Ralph played a significant role in supporting the previous Country Presidents to establish CommVerge Solutions as a recognised brand name in the local telecommunications sector and has extensive experience in creating and maintaining execellent customer and vendor accounts and relationships.

Ralph holds double Master degrees in MBA of California State University LA(CSULA), International Business & MBA of Uwest, Marketing.

Raymond Chan

Head of Operations, Hong Kong

Raymond has over 12 years of experience in the IT Total Solutions & Telecommunications industry in Hong Kong. Raymond emanates from a technical background and over the years has acquired extensive experience and expertise in networking solutions and systems where he has been accredited with several professional certificates.

Raymond began his career with CommVerge in Aug 2005 as a System Engineer. His technical achievements since joining CommVerge and extensive experience in the telecommunications industry led to his appointment as the Head of Operations, Hong Kong, in October 2011 where he will be tasked with increasing top line and profitability growth in the service provider sector as well as developing an increasing presence in the enterprise market in Hong Kong.

Raymond graduated with a Master of Science in Information Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
